Diet after colonoscopic removal of polyps

After removal of polyps under colonoscopy, different precautions need to be given for diet, exercise and postoperative recovery, depending on the location, size and number of polyps. If the polyps are large, it is recommended to fast for about two days after surgery and to rest in bed. If the polyps are small and not too many, it is recommended to fast until exhaustion after surgery. Bed rest is recommended after polyp removal. During the fasting period, you can drink water appropriately, and after the fasting is over, liquid food or semi-liquid food should be the main food. According to your condition, make a proper diet plan, avoid eating greasy and fatty food, such as milk, eggs, etc. It is not advisable to eat green food, and it is advisable to eat rotten noodles, thin rice, steamed bread, etc. You should pay attention to the food temperature not to be too high. After one week, you can eat normally, and after two weeks, you can do proper exercise, such as jogging, short-distance swimming and fitness, which will help your body recover.
