How to Extrude Tonsil Stones Yourself

You can squeeze out tonsil stones yourself by pressing on them with a sterile cotton swab, but it is difficult to do it yourself. If you are unable to squeeze them out by yourself, it is recommended that you go to a hospital ear, nose and throat department and have them treated by a doctor. Tonsil stones often cause bad breath, recurrent sore throat and inflammation. Smaller and uncomfortable tonsil stones can be opened in front of a mirror in sufficient light to fully expose the tonsil stone, gently push around the stone with a sterile cotton swab to squeeze out the stone, avoiding violent extrusion. If it is difficult to squeeze out, it is recommended to go to the ear, nose and throat department of the hospital for treatment by the doctor. Smaller tonsil stones that are not associated with pharyngeal discomfort, foreign body sensation, bad breath, etc. may not require treatment. If discomfort occurs, please consult a doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
