The drug treatment of gastric ulcer mainly includes three aspects: inhibition of gastric acid secretion, eradication of HP (Helicobacter pylori) and protection of gastric mucosa. 1, inhibition of gastric acid drugs: (1) H2 receptor antagonist: is one of the main drugs for the treatment of gastric ulcer, commonly used are famotidine, ranitidine, etc. (2) PPI (proton pump inhibitor): strong acid inhibiting effect, long duration, mostly control gastric ulcer symptoms within 2~3 days, and the healing rate of gastric ulcer for 4 weeks can reach 80%~96%. Commonly used PPI are omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, etc. 2, eradication of HP drugs: the current program for the eradication of H. pylori is quadruple therapy, that is, 1 PPI + 2 antibiotics + 1 bismuth, the course of treatment for 10-14 days. The commonly used antibiotics are clarithromycin, amoxicillin, metronidazole, etc., and the commonly used bismuth agents are bismuth potassium citrate, etc. 3, the protection of gastric mucosa drugs: (1) bismuth: such drugs can be covered on the surface of the ulcer, thus blocking the gastric acid, pepsin on the mucosa of its own digestion, on the other hand, can also play a bactericidal role. However, bismuth is contraindicated for those with poor renal function. (2) weak alkaline antacids: can neutralize gastric acid, briefly relieve pain. Commonly used are magnesium aluminum carbonate, aluminum thioglycollate, etc. Therefore, the treatment of gastric ulcer more drugs, the effect is also better, but the specific use of what drugs, how to use, should also be based on the cause of the patient and the condition of individualized medication, so as to achieve better treatment results.
