Minimally invasive laparoscopic single-site surgery for cryptorchidism

For cryptorchidism, the traditional surgical method is very traumatic, with large incisions and obvious postoperative scars, and if it is a high cryptorchidism, open surgery is often required to assist. Nowadays, laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery can solve the above problems very well, especially for high cryptorchidism, which is inside the abdominal cavity, avoiding open surgery, greatly reducing the trauma to the child, and facilitating the postoperative recovery and long-term prognosis. The following pictures are the pictures of laparoscopic three-hole minimally invasive surgery for cryptorchidism in our department. The child is 4 years old, with unilateral high cryptorchidism on the right side. At present, our department has been gradually carrying out single-site multi-channel laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for cryptorchidism, that is, except for the scrotal incision, all laparoscopic operation ports are hidden near the umbilicus, in order to completely achieve scar-free surgical results.
