This includes some patients with high fever and some patients with low fever. The high or low body temperature depends mainly on the immune status of the patient. Some patients, such as the elderly, frail or with underlying diseases, have a body temperature of 37℃-38℃, but can often be combined with serious complications, such as respiratory failure, renal failure, coagulation problems and multi-organ failure, and such hypothermic patients suggest a more serious disease. It is not possible to determine definitively whether a patient is in a state of novel coronavirus infection from the patient’s temperature alone.
