Heart-kidney disharmony (heart fire and kidney yin deficiency, dysfunction of the physiological functions of the heart and kidneys) refers to the deficiency of kidney yin and the exuberance of heart fire, and the patient often manifests symptoms such as heartburn, insomnia, soreness of the waist and knees, hot flashes, and night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up).
Heart-kidney disharmony is a TCM disease mechanism, which refers to the insufficiency of kidney yin and the diminished function of yin fluid in restraining yang-heat, leading to the hyperactivity of heart fire, and the loss of water and fire to both.
Heart-kidney disharmony is mostly caused by uncontrolled sexual intercourse, overwork and other factors, and patients may manifest symptoms such as palpitation, panic, insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus, forgetfulness, lumbar and knee soreness and weakness, five heart-heat (the heart of the two hands and the heart of the two feet are hot, and consciously feel hot in the heart and chest), hot flashes and night sweating, red tongue with little moss, and a thin pulse (the pulse becomes narrower and finer, and the rate is accelerated).
If the heart and kidneys do not communicate with each other, the patient should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to use drugs to nourish yin and lower the fire, do not blindly use their own medication, so as to avoid misunderstanding the condition.
