PRP treatment for the knee joint is a relatively new clinical treatment that works by repairing and treating the knee joint and articular cartilage or bone defects, through the use of repair factors in platelet-rich plasma. Platelet-rich plasma is usually extracted and injected into the joint for repair, and the treatment process takes about 3-6 months. Some patients do not have particularly good results, while others will have good results, depending mainly on the patient’s symptoms and whether they are suitable for such a treatment. The results are better if indications exist, or if they are within the range of treatment.
