Indications for colposcopy

  All abnormal cervical screening results must be examined by colposcopy to confirm the diagnosis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.  1. Abnormal cervical cytology findings (1) Atypical squamous epithelial cells (ASC-US) (2) Atypical squamous epithelial cells-not excluding high squamous intraepithelial lesions (ASC-H) (3) Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL) (4) High grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) (5) Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (6) Atypical glandular epithelial cells (AGC) (7) Adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS) (8) Adenocarcinoma  (9) Pap classification criteria for results ≥ Pap grade IIB and above  (10) Positive result of high-risk HPV test (HPV test method should be indicated, such as: HC-2 method, Kemp HPV genotyping method, PCR method, etc.) 2. Abnormal result of naked eye acetic acid staining or visual observation after compound iodine staining (VIA/VILI)  3.Naked eye visualization as cervical ulcer, mass or suspected cervical invasive carcinoma.
