Decompression surgery has certain risks, because when opening the skull, you need to use a pendulum saw to cut the skull, if you are not careful, there is a possibility of damage to the meninges or the brain tissue inside, causing local bleeding, and if the functional areas of the brain are damaged, there will also be sequelae, resulting in hemiplegia or aphasia, or even coma. At the same time, craniotomy is also considered a major surgery, some patients will cause wound infection, the wound will have localized redness and swelling, and if the inflammation continues to develop, it will also cause intracranial infection, which is a more serious complication, and most of them will be disabled. Debridement surgery is usually performed to treat cerebral edema caused by brain hemorrhage, during which the bleeding site needs to be stopped. However, some patients will have another brain hemorrhage a few hours after the surgery, and need to go into the operating room for another surgery, so the risk of having two major surgeries in a short period of time is quite high.
