Poria Pill is composed of one tael of Poria, one half tael of Citrus aurantium, two tael of Pinellia, and one tael of Weifeng Pu Nit. In this formula, Semixia is used to dry dampness and resolve phlegm (to remove phlegm in the body with dampness-drying drugs), Poria strengthens the spleen and seeps dampness, Citrus aurantium regulates qi and broadens the middle (to regulate the qi of the spleen and stomach), and Weihua Park Nitrate softens the hardness and moistens the lower part of the abdomen. This formula is used in treating phlegm in the middle epithelium, flowing into the meridians and collaterals, with symptoms such as soreness and pain in the arms or jerking, not being able to lift up, or shifting from left to right, numbness in the hands, or swelling of the limbs. This formula should not be used by anyone with rheumatic arm pain. When discomfort occurs, one should consult a doctor in time and choose medication under the guidance of physician’s diagnosis, and should not use medication on one’s own in order to avoid delaying the condition.
