Children’s tooth extraction is mostly for milk teeth, mainly using forceps extraction method for extraction, the process includes separation of gums, placement of forceps, extraction of the affected tooth, treatment of extraction wounds and so on.
1. Separate the gums: use the gum separator or probe to separate the gums that are tightly attached to the neck of the tooth.
2. Placement of dental pliers: choose the appropriate dental pliers. Place the beak of the pliers on the lip and tongue side of the affected teeth. Hold the handle near the end of the pliers and clamp the affected tooth firmly.
3. Extraction of the affected tooth: After placing the dental pliers and clamping the affected tooth, use the force of rocking, twisting and pulling to extract the affected tooth.
4. Treatment of extraction wound: after extraction, check whether the extracted tooth is intact, if there is a broken root, it should be removed. If there is bleeding, pressure can be applied to stop bleeding.
On the day after tooth extraction, you should pay attention to not being able to rinse and brush your teeth, and eat a liquid diet. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for treatment.
