What to do if you keep bleeding after a tooth extraction

Bleeding all the time after tooth extraction may be due to gum tear, small blood vessel rupture in the alveolar fossa, inflammatory granulation tissue in the alveolar fossa, etc. Depending on the situation, choose the methods of clearing and suturing, pressure hemostasis, oral hemostatic medication and other methods to improve the situation.
1. Gingival splitting: excessive damage during tooth extraction leads to gingival tearing, there will be bleeding all the time after tooth extraction, placing iodoform sponge and hemostatic gauze in the extraction socket, plus horizontal mattress suture on both sides of the gums.
2. Rupture of small blood vessels in the alveolar socket: use sterile cotton balls to stop bleeding, together with the application of Yunnan Baiyao, haemostatic minerals, etc. to stop bleeding.
3. Inflammatory granulation tissue in the alveolar fossa: you can scrape the inflammatory granulation tissue by scratching and then suture the extraction fossa to facilitate wound healing.
There may be other reasons for the bleeding after tooth extraction, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, to clarify the cause of bleeding and then actively treat it, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
