Pregabalin Effects and Side Effects

Pregabalin has analgesic and anticonvulsant properties, and side effects include dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. The analgesic and anticonvulsant effects of pregabalin may be related to the binding of pregabalin to the α2-δ subunit. The safety and efficacy of the drug in women during pregnancy and in children and adolescent patients under 17 years of age have not been established, therefore, the use of this drug is not recommended.
