Differential diagnosis of cerebral palsy – autoimmune disease Multiple sclerosis (MS): is an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammatory demyelinating lesions in the white matter of the central nervous system. The most frequent sites of involvement are the periventricular white matter, optic nerve, spinal cord, brainstem and cerebellum. The main clinical features are the scattered distribution of multiple lesions in the white matter of the CNS with remission relapses during the course of the disease, spatial multiplicity of signs and symptoms and temporal multiplicity of the disease course. There are 5 early signs of abnormal motor development: ① softness of the body; ② significantly less kicking and stirring movements; ③ abnormal gait when walking; ④ asymmetry of movements on both sides; ⑤ inability to grasp accurately.
