Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan is a classical formula of the famous Han Dynasty physician Zhang Zhong Jing’s “The Essentials of the Golden Horoscope” for the treatment of stasis of blood in the lower jiao. This formula consists of five herbs: Gui Zhi, Fu Ling, Tao Ren, Red Peony and Dang Pi, which have the effect of activating blood circulation, resolving blood stasis and relieving pain.
