What is hepatic dystocia?

Liver coercive pain (coercive rib pain) in Chinese medicine generally refers to one or both sides of the coercive rib pain. The main cause of coercive pain, also known as dystocia, is related to a number of factors, such as emotional upset (emotional upset), dietary disorders, falls and injuries, chronic illness and physical weakness, resulting in liver qi stagnation (liver qi and blood transportation is not smooth, emotional depression), blockage of silt and blood, the liver network is not nourished, resulting in coercive pain and other discomforts; the principle of treatment is to dredge the liver to activate the channels and relieve pain. Patients with dystocia can take some medicines with the function of dredging the liver and activating collaterals, promoting qi and relieving pain (relieving pain by regulating the body’s qi) under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, for example, Chaihu Shuohe San, Longdian Diarrheal Liver Soup, etc. In daily life, if the dystocia occurs, it may cause pain. In daily life, if there are symptoms of discomfort or pain in the ribs, consult a Chinese medicine practitioner in time to avoid delaying the condition if treatment is not timely.
