Slight strabismus in the right eye can be corrected with lenses, visual function training or surgery as prescribed by the doctor after examination.
If the examination reveals that the strabismus is caused by refractive error, it can be corrected by wearing glasses as prescribed by the doctor. Slight strabismus caused by abnormal set and adjustment function can also be corrected by doing some set and adjustment function training under the instruction of the doctor. If the effect of conservative treatment is unsatisfactory, or if the degree of strabismus is constant, or if the visual function is jeopardized, surgery is needed to correct the strabismus if necessary.
Generally speaking, the treatment of strabismus is not a quick fix, and patients need to insist on cooperating with the treatment in order to improve the quality of vision as much as possible. Self-treatment is not recommended in order to prevent the condition from deteriorating.
