How to help yourself with a little spot on your face

A little spot on the face is commonly found in sun spot, chloasma, seborrheic keratosis, etc. It can be clearly diagnosed and then choose general treatment, medication, physical therapy and other treatment modes to remove the spots.
1. Sun spot: this disease is mainly caused by long time ultraviolet radiation. For clinical treatment, those with obvious pain can use 3% boric acid solution as cold wet compress to alleviate the pain; if necessary, glucocorticoid can be used externally to alleviate the symptoms, such as hydrocortisone cream; if the spots have already been formed and there is no other discomfort locally, decoloration agent can be used externally to treat the spots, such as hydroquinone cream.
2. Melasma: Generally, it can be treated with topical decolorizing agent, such as hydroquinone cream; it can also be treated with topical retinoic acid ointment, which affects melanin metabolism and reduces melanin production; topical fruit acid can be used to peel off the epidermis and alleviate the discoloration of the spots; it can be treated with oral antioxidant, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, etc., which reduces the production of melanin; for those who have bad effect of medication, it can be treated by physical therapy such as picosecond and super picosecond laser.
3. Seborrheic keratosis: Thin lesions can be treated with laser therapy, intense pulse light, etc., to lighten the spots; thicker lesions can be treated with carbon dioxide laser therapy; if the effect of physical therapy is not good, surgical treatment can be taken to scrape off the surgery, chipping surgery and other surgical treatments.
It is recommended that patients go to the dermatology department of regular hospitals in a timely manner, and follow the doctor’s instructions to use reasonable medication, not blindly self-medication.
