What to do if you have a lump on your arm from a bug bite

Bug bites on the arm with lumps may be the local skin to produce physiological allergic reactions, but also may be insect bite dermatitis or bacterial dermatosis and other pathologic factors, generally need to be treated with medication, commonly used drugs, including cetirizine, glycerine lotion, mometasone furoate cream, and so on.
1. Physiological factors: due to the arm by the bug bite, resulting in the body to produce an immune response, the release of histamine, the local skin lumps, generally can be relieved by themselves. 2. Pathologic factors:
(1) insect bite dermatitis: insect bites the skin of the arm to produce an acute inflammatory reaction, usually manifested as redness, swelling and itching, skin lumps. Generally can be used externally boric acid lotion, glycerite lotion, dexamethasone acetate cream and other drugs. If necessary, oral antihistamine drugs such as cetirizine tablets and other treatment.
(2) Bacterial dermatosis: If bacterial dermatosis is formed after being bitten by bugs carrying beta-hemolytic streptococcus bacteria on the arm, lumps may appear, and it is usually treated with topical drugs such as mometasone furoate and erythromycin.
