Intravertebral ventricular meningiomas are not necessarily malignant and need to be judged according to the specific pathologic type.
1. Grade I ventricular meningioma: Grade I ventricular meningiomas are generally benign tumors and can be cured by surgery such as total excision of the tumor.
2. Ventricular meningioma grade II: Grade II ventricular meningioma is between benign and malignant tumors and belongs to junctional tumors, which can be treated by surgery.
3. Ventricular meningioma grade III: Including mesenchymal ventricular meningioma, this kind of tumor belongs to malignant tumors, and the risk of spreading and metastasis along the cerebrospinal fluid and other pathways is higher, so it can be treated with comprehensive treatment such as surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and so on.
Patients with intravertebral ventricular meningioma are recommended to improve relevant examination, clarify the pathological type and then carry out further treatment under the guidance of doctors.
