How to get rid of scars

Scars, i.e. keloid scars, cannot be eliminated once they appear, but medication, physical therapy and surgery can be used to improve the appearance of keloid scars.
1. Medication: Silicone gel can be used to inhibit scar proliferation in the early stage of scarring; injection of glucocorticoids and bleomycin can also be used to induce vasoconstriction of the scar and inhibit the proliferation of fibrous tissues in the case of obvious proliferation of keloid scars. Oral trinitrotoluene can inhibit scar growth and reduce discomfort.
2. Physical therapy: including compression therapy, silicone membrane therapy, cryotherapy, laser therapy, ion beam therapy and so on.
3. Surgery: If drug treatment and physical therapy are ineffective or dysfunction occurs, surgery can be considered, but surgery is invasive and may cause serious scarring again.
It is recommended that patients who are willing to be treated should go to regular hospitals and choose the appropriate method of standardized treatment under the guidance of specialists.
