How to diagnose chloasma in Chinese medicine

Chloasma is the sallow spot in Chinese medicine, which is diagnosed as a brown or black colored patch with obvious butterfly-like edges on symmetrical parts of the face.
Sallow spots can be seen in both men and women clinically, but they are more common in young and middle-aged women. They are closely related to the liver, kidney and spleen, and the main pathogenesis is that qi and blood can not moisturize and nourish the face upward, and the common causes of sallow spots are emotional disorders, dietary injuries, and physical weakness.
Sallow spots occur symmetrically on the face, mostly on the forehead, cheeks, lips, nose and chin; the lesions vary in size from light brown to dark brown, blackish patches, with different shapes, fused into a piece or isolated, generally butterfly-shaped, with a more obvious edge. The course of the disease is indeterminate, no self-conscious symptoms, chronic passage.
If there are brown spots on the skin, it is recommended to go to the hospital, diagnosed by a professional doctor.
