What causes high aminotransferases after drinking alcohol?

After drinking alcohol, transaminases are high mainly because of the release of transaminases into the blood, usually should quit smoking and drinking. The full name of transaminase is serum aminotransferase, alanine acid aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase of liver function test. Elevated aminotransferases can be seen in acute and chronic viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, drug-induced hepatitis, cirrhosis, cholestasis, acute myocardial infarction, dermatomyositis and other diseases. Normally, transaminases are found in small amounts in the blood and are mainly distributed in the liver. Drinking alcohol will cause liver function damage, liver cell damage, so that the transaminase in the cell is released into the blood, which leads to the elevation of transaminase level in the blood. Long-term consumption of alcohol destroys the structure of the liver, which may develop into cirrhosis, or even transform into liver cancer. It is recommended to abstain from alcohol in general, if found to have alcoholic fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis and other diseases, should be actively treated.
