How old can babies drink soy milk

Soymilk is not a necessity in a baby’s diet. If your baby is not allergic to soymilk, you can try to drink some soymilk after you reach 8 months of age.
The nutritional value in regular soymilk (non-formulated) is relatively low, its protein content is lower than that of cow’s milk and its calcium content is less than one-tenth of that of cow’s milk. It is not recommended for babies to consume too much soymilk, nor is it recommended that soymilk be used as a substitute for dairy products.
If you plan to give your baby soy milk, you can wait until your baby is 8 months old and try to drink a little bit of soy milk.
For babies with allergies, you should pay close attention to whether your baby is allergic to soy protein when drinking soy milk for the first time. If your baby loves soymilk, you can drink a cup of it with your baby’s extra meal, along with other foods to ensure adequate nutrition.
