Hydroxyurea Tablet is a chemotherapy drug mainly used to treat chronic granulocytic leukemia, melanoma, kidney cancer, head and neck cancer and other diseases. The use of hydroxyurea tablets may cause adverse reactions such as decreased white blood cells and platelets.
The normal range of platelets is (100~300)×10^9/L. Platelets falling to 300×10^9/L is within the normal range, and hydroxyurea tablets can be used if they are used to treat related diseases, but regular testing is needed, and the medication should be stopped if platelets are <100×10^9/L. Hydroxyurea tablets should not be used if platelets have decreased but are not an indication for the drug.
