Thick and protruding throat tubes in girls should mean that girls have larger laryngeal nodes. It may be a physiological phenomenon, or it may be caused by pathological factors, such as hormonal imbalance in the body, subacute thyroiditis, simple lymph node enlargement, laryngeal tumors and so on.
1. Physiological phenomenon: more thin girls, because the neck of the subcutaneous fat is relatively small, it looks like the throat tube thick and prominent, usually normal, without special treatment.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Hormonal imbalance in the body: because of more androgen secretion, there will be male characteristics, resulting in symptoms such as thick and prominent throat tube and hirsuteness.
(2) Subacute thyroiditis: acute inflammatory lesions of the thyroid gland caused by viral infection, which looks like a thick and prominent throat tube.
(3) Simple enlarged lymph nodes: the lymph nodes in the middle of the neck are enlarged due to infection, which looks like a thick and protruding throat, painful to touch, and hard in texture.
(4) Tumor in the throat: Tumor in the throat will be manifested as a large protruding throat.
If you have a tumor in your throat, it will appear as a thick and protruding laryngeal tube.
