What acupoints in the lower limbs are massaged in hemiplegic patients

Hemiplegia, also known as hemiplegia (inability to move one side of the limb at will), is a motor disorder of the upper and lower limbs on one side. Acupuncture points should be taken according to the TCM diagnosis, generally focusing on the Yangming meridian points, and the common acupuncture points for the lower limbs are: Yanglingquan, Foot Sanli, Xiexi, Sanyinjiao, Taichong, and so on.
Foot Sanli: in the lower leg, 3 inches below the calf’s nose point, one transverse finger in front of the tibia.
Yanglingquan; in the lower leg, in the depression below the front of the head of the fibula.
Xiexi: in the dorsum of the foot, at the depression in the center of the transverse line of the ankle joint.
Taixi: in the depression at the midpoint of the line connecting the tip of the inner ankle and the Achilles tendon.
Sanyinjiao: in the lower leg, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the posterior margin of the medial border of the tibia.
As hemiplegia is in different stages of the disease, the selection of acupoints and techniques are different, please do it under the guidance of a doctor and do not do it on your own.
