Neurogenic bladder rehabilitation training includes voiding awareness training, reflex voiding training, Valsalva breath-holding method and pelvic floor muscle training. 1. Voiding awareness training: 5 minutes before each catheterization, the patient imagines that he is in a bathroom, can assist in listening to the sound of running water, and tries to urinate on his own, and then accompanied by a slow release of urine. 2. Reflex voiding training: half an hour before catheterization, by knocking the suprapubic area or the upper 1/3 of the inner thigh and other areas of the stimulation point, to induce the bladder reflex contraction in order to produce urination. Reflex voiding is only indicated in some special cases. 3. Valsalva breath-holding method: the patient’s body leans forward, holds his breath, and exerts downward force to make a bowel movement. But note that, such as forced urethral muscle, sphincter muscle incoordination, urethral foreign body, cardiac arrhythmia and other patients are not suitable. 4. Pelvic floor muscle training: patients need to consciously and repeatedly contract the pelvic floor muscle groups to enhance the strength of the pelvic floor muscles and train the ability to control urine. Neurogenic bladder patients in need of rehabilitation training, should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor or rehabilitation division, do not operate without authorization, so as not to cause secondary damage to the body due to improper training.
