Lung nodules are commonly caused by inflammatory lung nodules, or scans from different brands of CT machines.
1. Inflammatory lung nodules may recur as the infection is controlled and the body’s resistance changes, manifesting themselves as large and small lung nodules.
2. Chest CT scan only shows the size of the nodule at the level of scanning, and cannot see the whole picture of the lung nodule. Due to the different levels of each chest CT scan, especially the scanning of different brands of CT machines, the diameter of the nodule can change, which is manifested as the lung nodule is bigger and smaller at one time.
It is recommended to go to the hospital for further counseling, examination or treatment if the lung nodules are large or small at one time.
