There are several types of intestinal obstruction and their treatment

The common types of intestinal obstruction are mechanical intestinal obstruction, dynamic intestinal obstruction and hemodynamic intestinal obstruction, and the common treatments are general treatment, drug treatment (such as anti-infective cephalosporins, enzyme inhibiting growth inhibitors, etc.) and surgical treatment. 1. Mechanical intestinal obstruction: it is caused by various reasons that lead to the narrowing of intestinal lumen leading to dysfunction through, such as tumor, fecal stone, adhesion and so on. Treatment is also general treatment, such as fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, drug therapy, such as cefmetazole anti-infection, omeprazole gastric protection, growth inhibitors to inhibit enzymes, as well as to maintain water-electrolyte balance and so on, if necessary, surgical treatment. 2. Dynamic intestinal obstruction: due to infection or toxin caused by intestinal peristalsis function is reduced or lost, resulting in intestinal contents can not be digested and absorbed, but there is no obvious intestinal stenosis. Common causes include abdominal infection, hypokalemia, retroperitoneal hematoma and lead poisoning. Treatment is the same as mechanical intestinal obstruction. 3. Hematogenous intestinal obstruction: due to various causes of mesenteric vascular embolism leading to intestinal blood transport disorders, thus leading to intestinal immobility and loss of function. Common treatments include general treatment such as fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, interventional therapy, medication such as low molecular heparin, urokinase, etc., and surgery if necessary. If there is intestinal obstruction, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions.
