How to treat polyradiculitis

Polyneurogenic neuritis generally refers to acute infectious polyneuritis, also known as Guillain-Barré syndrome, an autoimmune disease involving spinal nerve roots, peripheral nerves, and brain nerves. Treatment mainly includes intravenous immunoglobulin or glucocorticoids, nutritional drugs, plasma exchange and so on. 1. Intravenous immunoglobulin or glucocorticosteroids: It is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to improve electromyography and other related examinations, and to treat the disease according to its pathogenesis, selectively applying gammaglobulin, glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone acetate tablets and other drugs. 2. Neurotrophic drugs: patients with polyneurogenic neuritis can use B vitamins (e.g. methylcobalamin, vitamin B1) for neurotrophic treatment. 3. Plasma replacement: Generally, membrane filtration or other methods are used to separate blood cells and plasma, and then the plasma containing autoantibodies is discarded and the blood cells are returned to the body. Plasma exchange can be considered for patients without contraindications such as serious infections, blood diseases, or cardiac arrhythmias. It is recommended that patients with polyradiculitis should consult a doctor for timely examination and targeted treatment. The use of medication should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor, not unauthorized use of medication.
