Ginseng and Atractylodes Macrocephalae is mainly composed of lotus seed meat, Atractylodes macrocephala, Semen Coicis, white lentil, Poria cocos, Radix et Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephala, Radix et Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephala, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae and Chinese yam. It has the functions of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), and stopping the diarrhea through the penetration of dampness (eliminating dampness in order to cure the diarrhea). Shenyang Dampness Removing Tang is mainly composed of Cangzhu, Chaihu, Qiangwu, Fenghuang, Shengma, Shenqu, Ze Xie, Poria, Zhi Gan Cao, Chen Pi, etc. It can treat weak spleen and stomach, loss of appetite, diarrhea, weakness of limbs, and teeth marks on the tongue.
