If a child has a minor throat burn, it will usually heal on its own. However, if the burn is relatively severe, it is less likely to heal on its own and relevant treatment measures are required.
If a child eats a small amount of food that is too hot during the eating process, it may lead to damage to the epithelial cells in the throat. Even a small area of mucous membrane rupture appeared smaller ulcers, usually can be self-healing. Daily need to eat a light diet, avoid eating too hard, too hot food, eat need to chew slowly. Eat more foods rich in vitamins and proteins, can promote wound healing.
However, if the child’s burns are more serious, the mucous membrane rupture area is large, and accompanied by bleeding, obvious edema and other symptoms, can not be self-healing. Fasting and intravenous nutritional support are required under medical supervision. In severe cases, surgery may be required for treatment.
