An ipad placed on top of a baby’s head does not usually cause epilepsy.
A pad is a small, portable personal computer with features such as, sending and receiving e-mail, viewing e-books, playing audio or video, and playing games. Its use is relatively safe, and there is no evidence that placing an ipad on top of a baby’s head causes epilepsy.
There are relatively more causes of epilepsy, both congenital and acquired. Congenital, i.e. hereditary, can induce epilepsy because of brain tissue damage or cerebral palsy caused after embryonic development. Acquired epilepsy can be caused by traumatic brain injury or brain hemorrhage, which can also lead to epilepsy.
If diagnosed with epilepsy, early and standardized treatment is recommended to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
