3. Drug treatment: choose antibiotics according to the site of infection. If the patient is pyelonephritis, should choose in levofloxacin, ceftriaxone and so on, if the patient is cystitis, should choose amoxicillin, cephalosporin and so on. The choice of specific antibiotics should be combined with the results of urine culture and drug sensitivity test as prescribed by the doctor.
4. Symptomatic supportive treatment: pay attention to rest, drink more water, and urinate frequently. For patients with high fever, headache and back pain, antipyretic and analgesic such as acetaminophen should be given to alleviate the symptoms, while patients with obvious symptoms of urinary tract irritation can be treated with anticholinergic drugs such as atropine, or sodium bicarbonate can be taken to alkalize the urine.
