Can urine be sterilized?

The main components of urine are water and inorganic salts, which itself contains a large number of metabolic end-products, and does not have any disinfectant effect in itself.
Urine cannot be sterilized, it contains certain metabolic wastes, bacteria, electrolytes such as potassium, sodium, chlorine and urea. In the case of wounds, once disinfected with urine, it can also cause infections and other conditions.
The traditional method of skin disinfection is to use 2.5%~3% tincture of iodine to rub, dry and then use 70% alcohol to rub twice. This prevents conditions such as infection from occurring in the skin wound rather than using urine to disinfect it.
If there is a need to disinfect the wound, patients are advised to use alcohol, iodophor, etc. to disinfect themselves or go to the hospital in time; if there is a need to know the composition of urine, it is recommended to consult professional books.
