Tangerine Red, Luo Han Guo, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Glycyrrhiza Glabra and Poria

Tangerine red, Luo Han Guo, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Glycyrrhiza Glabra and Poria are used to regulate qi, and promote diuresis.
Tangerine Red, is effective in resolving phlegm and drying dampness, and relieving Qi in the middle. It can be used for coughing with excessive phlegm, constipation and vomiting, food stagnation (accumulation of food in the stomach due to indigestion) and injury to wine. It is not suitable for people with yin deficiency, dry cough and cough with Qi deficiency.
Luo Han Guo, efficacy is laxative and laxative, moistening the lungs and clearing heat, and opening the voice and pharynx. It can be used for lung heat and dry cough, intestinal dryness and constipation, sore throat and loss of voice and other diseases. It is not recommended for people with cold spleen and stomach.
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae is used for resolving phlegm, drying dampness, strengthening the spleen and regulating qi. It can be used in treating diseases such as poor appetite, vomiting and diarrhea, stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach, chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain) and vomiting, coughing with excessive phlegm, and so on.
Glycyrrhiza glabra is used to harmonize various herbs, clear heat and remove toxins, relieve cough and phlegm, tonify the spleen and qi, and relieve pain and urgency. It can be used for heart qi deficiency, pulse knotting (discontinuous pulse beat with intermittent intervals), coughing with excessive phlegm, contracture of limbs, tiredness and fatigue. It should not be used in conjunction with seaweed, Kyoho, red halberd, Glycyrrhiza glabra and Coriandrum sativum.
Poria, the effects of which are tranquilizing the mind, seeping dampness, inducing diuresis and strengthening the spleen, can be used for edema with low urine output, insomnia, dizziness and palpitation, phlegm (a pathological product formed as a result of impaired metabolism of water and fluid), and diarrhea with low food intake and other discomforts. It should be taken with caution in cases of yin deficiency without dampness-heat, deficiency cold and slippery semen, and qi deficiency and subsidence.
