What to do if your foot is swollen from an ant bite

Feet swollen by ant bites can generally be treated with topical medications, oral medications and other methods.
1. Topical medication: If the symptoms are mild, glucocorticoid creams such as hydrocortisone butyrate cream and dexamethasone acetate cream can be applied to reduce the swelling and inflammation.
2. Oral medication: Oral antihistamines can be taken for treatment, such as cetirizine hydrochloride tablets, loratadine tablets and other drugs. If the lesions are extensive and the allergic reaction is serious, you can take oral glucocorticosteroid treatment for a short period of time, such as prednisone.
Patients whose feet are swollen by ant bites should seek timely medical treatment and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication.
