Why do babies panic when you blow in their faces?

Blowing on a baby’s face can cause a baby to panic because the child’s nervous system is not fully developed and is sensitive to external stimuli and is easily scared. The phenomenon of blowing on the baby’s face causing the child to panic is normal and belongs to the body’s defensive reflexes. The development of the infant’s nervous system is also immature, more sensitive to abnormal stimuli, the baby is usually rarely trained in this kind of training, and fear, panic. Blowing in the baby’s face may cause the baby to suffer from disease transmission. Some respiratory diseases are spread through saliva, and by blowing, the saliva carrying germs can transmit the disease to the baby. It is therefore not recommended that parents blow into their infants’ faces. It is recommended that parents should bring their infants to the doctor for prompt medical consultation and actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment if the infants have any discomfort.
