Multiple ground-glass nodules in the lungs up to 6.2 mm cannot be judged solely as serious, but may be pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, etc. It is necessary to combine with the etiology to judge.
1. Pneumonia: caused by pathogens multiplying in the respiratory tract, causing alveolar capillary congestion, edema, intra-alveolar fibrin exudation and cellular infiltration.
Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae can easily cause degeneration and necrosis of lung tissue, the formation of cavities, which is more serious. Other pathogenic bacteria of pneumonia do not easily cause cavities and are less likely to leave scarring.
2. Tuberculosis: the pathological changes of tuberculosis are inflammatory exudation, hyperplasia and caseous necrosis. Absorption and healing is slow, more repeated and easy to deteriorate. After chemotherapy, early exudative lesions can be completely absorbed, leaving only a small amount of streak shadow. Small scattered foci of hard nodules may remain.
Without timely chemotherapy, caseous necrotic lesions may form liquefaction and cavities in the lungs, which are more serious.
3. Lung cancer: it is divided into non-small cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma. The former is divided into squamous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, large cell and other cancers. The latter includes carcinoid tumor, atypical carcinoid tumor, small cell carcinoma, large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, which may cause carcinoid syndrome and is more serious.
If multiple ground-glass nodules in the lungs appear, do not use drugs by yourself. It is necessary to seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid serious complications.
