What causes gauze to bleed after circumcision?

A small amount of blood oozing from the gauze after circumcision is a normal phenomenon, which is mainly caused by vascular damage; if the blood oozing is serious, the possibility of surgical operation error, poor prognosis and local infection should be considered.
1. Physiological phenomenon: the foreskin is rich in blood vessels, after circumcision, it may lead to serious damage to the blood vessels of the foreskin, even after bandaging, there may still be a slight oozing of blood, which is generally a normal phenomenon.
2. Operational errors: In the operation or bandage, there are medical operation errors, such as poor suture or improper bandage, may lead to the patient’s symptoms of blood seepage.
3. Poor prognosis: after the operation, the penis is damaged by external force or abnormal erection, which may cause the incision to split again, and then the symptoms of blood seepage.
4. Localized infection: postoperative infection in the affected area, resulting in redness, swelling and congestion of the wound, which may also lead to incision cracking, causing blood seepage.
If there is blood seepage after surgery, we must pay attention to it and seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
