Is 300 to 400 platelets normal?

The normal value of platelets is (100-300) x 10^9/L. A value of (300-400) x 10^9/L is considered elevated, which means that the number of platelets exceeds the normal range.
Elevated platelets are common in the following conditions:
1. Myeloproliferative diseases: such as chronic granulocytic leukemia, true erythrocytosis, primary thrombocythemia and so on.
2. Surgery, trauma: such as fracture, trauma, acute blood loss, splenectomy, extracorporeal counterpulsation and so on.
3. Malignant tumors: simple platelet count increase generally suggests the existence of hidden malignant tumors, clinically unexplained platelet increase may be the early signs of some undiagnosed malignant tumors.
4. Drugs: e.g. glucocorticoid, adrenaline, etc.
5. Others: such as infection, exposure to cotton dust, coronary heart disease, iron deficiency anemia, rheumatoid arthritis and so on.
When platelets are abnormally elevated, the relevant examination should be perfected, and standardized treatment should be given after clear diagnosis.
