How to get rid of chest scar growths

Chest scars, i.e. anterior chest scars, cannot be completely eliminated once they appear, but their appearance can be improved by topical medications, injections and surgical removal. 1. Topical medication: If the anterior chest scar is in the early hyperplasia stage, topical medication such as sodium heparin sodium allantoin gel and mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream can be used to inhibit the synthesis of collagen fibers by fibroblasts in the skin, thus reducing the hyperplasia of the scar. The medication should be used according to the doctor’s prescription. 2. Injection therapy: For the stable appearance of old scar, hormonal drugs can be injected into the scar to soften and flatten the scar tissue to achieve the therapeutic purpose. Commonly used injections include Triamcinolone acetonide injection, compound betamethasone injection and so on. 3. Surgical excision: If the scar proliferation is more obvious or leads to dysfunction, this situation is usually considered for keloid surgery, and the use of cosmetic suture to reduce the tension after surgery can achieve good results. It is recommended that patients who wish to undergo treatment go to a regular medical institution and be treated by a specialist according to the specific situation in order to minimize the adverse effects of the disease.
