The vast majority of suprahepatic nodules do not disappear on their own. The nature of the nodule needs to be clarified after discovery of the nodule, followed by regular observation or treatment for the cause. If a physical examination reveals a nodule on the liver, the first thing to look at is the size and shape of the nodule, and whether there is any blood flow signal within the nodule. If the nodule is small, with regular morphology and no blood flow signal, most of them are benign nodules, such as hepatic fibrosis nodule and hepatic hemangioma. If the nodules are large, irregular in shape, with blood flow signals in the nodules, and there is a past history of chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis, the possibility of primary liver cancer also needs to be considered. Liver nodules usually do not disappear on their own, and benign nodules need to be reviewed regularly to observe changes in the nodules, while malignant nodules need to be resected in time.
