Coffee is generally not recommended for students.
Coffee is widely accepted as one of the world’s top three beverages, along with tea and cocoa beans. However, students belong to the critical period of growth and development, their body systems are in an unstable stage, and they are more sensitive to caffeine and other substances in coffee, which may cause more adverse reactions if students drink coffee, compared to adults.
The caffeine in coffee can excite the central nervous system, leading to mental exuberance. However, after drinking coffee, their sleep time will not be shortened, so it eventually triggers sleep rhythm disorders, which affects students’ life and study.
At the same time, coffee also has the effect of increasing heart rate, leading to panic; increasing urine secretion, leading to frequent urination. The large amount of diuretic effect of caffeine in coffee will lead to the loss of calcium and other electrolytes, affecting the bone health of students in the rapid growth and development stage.
So from the above point of view, it is not recommended for students to drink coffee, the best drink for students is still plain water, or drinking some hawthorn, barley tea and other herbal teas.
