What points to massage for knee pain

Knee pain is mostly caused by cold-dampness, damp-heat obstruction, or heat congestion and blood stasis. There are many acupoints that can be massaged for knee pain, mainly localized acupoints, such as Foot Sanli Point, Yinlingquan Point, Yanglingquan Point, Blood Sea Point, and Calf Nose Point. 1. Foot Sanli point: located on the lateral side of the lower leg, 3 inches below the calf’s nose, a cross finger outside the tibia, can treat lower limb impotence paralysis (lower limb weakness, numbness and pain) and other conditions. 2. Yinlingquan Point: located on the inner side of the lower leg, the depression between the lower edge of the medial condyle of the tibia bone and the medial edge of the tibia bone, it can treat knee pain and paralysis of lower limb impotence. 3. Yanglingquan Point: located on the lateral side of the lower leg, in the depression below the anterior part of the head of the fibula, it can treat impotence paralysis of the lower limbs, knee and patellar swelling and pain. 4. Blood Sea Point: in the front of the thigh, 2 inches above the medial end of the patellar base, where the medial femoral (inner thigh) muscle rises, it can treat knee and femoral medial pain. 5. Calf Nose Point: Located at the eye of the outer knee, it can treat localized conditions such as knee pain. If symptoms of knee pain occur, you should consult a clinician and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment. Specific acupuncture point treatment needs to be carried out by a professional doctor, do not operate on your own.
