Damp-heat internal obstruction in the spleen and stomach can be regulated by taking Ge Gen Scutellaria Lian Lian Tang and Lian Pu Drink.
1. Pueraria Mirifica Scutellaria Lian Lian Tang: composed of Pueraria Mirifica, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix Scutellariae Radix and Rhizoma Lianthus. It has the efficacy of relieving the surface of the body and clearing the interior of the body. It is used for treating body heat, irritable heat in the chest and epigastric region (irritable and stuffy heat), wheezing and sweating, foul-smelling discharges, dryness of the mouth and thirst, red tongue with yellow fur, and rapid pulse. It is not to be used if the person with deficiency cold discharges.
2. Lianpuo drink: by thick park, jiao gardenia and so on composition. It has the efficacy of clearing away heat and dampness, regulating qi and center (regulating the qi of spleen and stomach, making the function of spleen and stomach smooth). It is used for treating chest and epigastric congestion (feeling of fullness and stuffiness in the chest and abdomen), nausea and vomiting, thirst without desire to drink more, heartburn and drowning in red, diarrhea, or vomiting and diarrhea in cholera, with yellowish and greasy fur on the tongue and moistened and numbered pulse. Caution should be exercised if the spleen and stomach are cold.
