Recurrent blood blisters on the mucosa of the pharyngeal cavity may be related to dietary factors, chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis, hematologic disorders and other diseases.
1. Dietary factors: if patients like to eat too hot, irritating food or hard, rough food, often due to food ingredients and mechanical stimulation, resulting in pharyngeal mucosal damage, the emergence of submucosal blood blisters, presenting the symptoms of recurrent blood blisters.
2. Chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis: chronic simple pharyngitis progresses, after the delay, can lead to pharyngeal mucosal congestion and thickening of the mucosa, the mucosa and submucosa has a wide range of connective tissue and lymphoid hyperplasia, lymphoid hyperplasia around the mucus glands protruding, in the posterior wall of the pharynx for a number of granular elevations, chronic congestion, and sometimes even fused into a piece, which can be manifested as recurrent blood vesicle phenomenon.
3. Blood system diseases: such as thrombocytopenia, coagulation factor deficiency, and leukemia, leading to coagulation dysfunction. Repeated blistering of pharyngeal mucosa can occur.
When repeated blood blisters are found in the pharyngeal mucosa, we can actively seek medical treatment and systematic examination to clarify the diagnosis and etiology.
