How long does it take to recover from cerebral palsy

Cerebral palsy is difficult to cure, so it is difficult to predict how long recovery time will take.
There is no effective treatment for cerebral palsy, but only treatment that promotes the recovery and development of the functions of the systems and reduces the degree of disability. In patients with mild cerebral palsy, some of the symptoms will be reduced through early medication and rehabilitation. Patients with more severe symptoms can hardly recover.
Neurological damage is irreversible, causing patients to have delayed intellectual and physical development, abnormal sensory perception and abnormal mental behavior than normal children. Only appropriate rehabilitation programs can be formulated according to the level of neurodevelopment and motor function of the child to achieve maximum functional improvement, but almost no cure is possible.
Parents should take good care of their children with cerebral palsy, provide them with reasonable upbringing, insist on functional exercises, and try to restore their motor and intellectual functions to their optimal function through comprehensive treatment.
