Floating tube of peritoneal dialysis in kidney disease (i.e. displacement of peritoneal dialysis tube) can be treated by changing body position, laxative enema, and repositioning the tube.
1. Changing position: If there is too much dialysis fluid in peritoneal dialysis, the intra-abdominal pressure will increase easily and the floating tube will appear. Changing position can change the intra-abdominal pressure and lift the displacement caused by omental adsorption.
2. Laxative enema: constipation or dry stools can cause catheter displacement, it should be given orally and enema to pass stools, after passing stools, the catheter can be reset.
3. Replacement of the catheter: If there is poor drainage or blockage of the catheter, the catheter is considered to be severely dislocated, and repositioning of the catheter should be considered.
